Pre-Terminated 50/125 Fibre Cables

Key Features

  • Decide the run of cable required; the fibre is supplied on a drum, in a pre-determined length of internal/external tight buffered cable.
  • Select the connector and core size; each end is pre-terminated with ST, SC or LC connectors - the number of
  • Install the cable run; each fly lead is 1Mtr long and traces back to a factory-prepared gland where the fibre reverts back to the raw jacketed cable. All joins and terminations are tested prior to shipping.
  • The fly fibre ends are supplied within a protective sleeve right up to the gland to help avoid damage. This sleeve is rugged in design and has a pulling eye to assist in the installation (via a draw cable)
  • Connect up to installed fibre network; the sleeve is removed and the gland can be secured to the patch box, patch panel etc. The fly leads can then be connected in the normal patching manner
  • To order simply quote the part number prefix (depending on type of connector, cable and core size) and then add the length of the cable run
  • For example, part number 5652F-100 would indicate a 100Mtr run of 8 core Int/Ext pre-terminated fibre fitted with 1Mtr ST fly leads at each end

Product Description

A revolutionary idea that provides a great saving in time and money when installing a fibre network. Essentially, it saves the cost of "on site termination" by a fibre specialist. Conventional direct termination or fusion splicing methods can be disregarded. No particular installation skills are required. The cables are available in ST, SC and LC versions with length determined by requirement. For explanatory reasons only, we have listed a very small selection of lengths that have been made previously. Phone our Sales Dept for individual requirements. please note that these units are custom made so take 5-7 days for delivery.
